Mexican outfit Mint Field have been gradually leaking drops of sedated psychedelia and more energetic krautrock bursts from their forthcoming new album Sentimiento Mundial for a little while. Shifting down a gear from their propulsive recent-ish offering 'Contingencia', 'Delicadeza' is the musical equivalent of an oasis in a sweltering hot desert (which coincidentally feels appropriate given the current weather conditions). Distant, magical and hazy, vocalist Estrella Sánchez' soft Spanish incantations sprawl over an understated backdrop of watery, picked guitars, waining whammy bar action and lowkey melodic bass guitar. Sentimiento Mundial will be released on the 25th of September via Felte.
